Leighton Buzzard

Leighton Buzzard cycle routes in a park.

Junction of new bridleways on the edge of Potton

A public bridleway has been created alongside the road from Sutton to Potton - this looks like a lovely beautiful bluebell wood.

Lots of permeability and connectivity in this part of Sandy

Short sections of segregated cycle lane lead up to this toucan crossing of a main road. This is part of a route to school and is well signed. This is a duplicate of #52249.

Lovely surfaced cycle path on route of old railway giving a pleasant walking and cycling short cut to rail station, schools, leisure centre, industrial estate and canal tow path whilst avoiding the town centre. It even has lighting.

No problem at these "barriers"

Underpass under Barford Road

Well surfaced and popular section of cycle path.

Nice, well surfaced stretch of cycle track west of Blunham.

Old rail bridge over the River Ivel at South Mills

Cycle path links cul de sacs

Toucan crossing

Entrance to Riverside Walk from Plantation Road. Sharp bend a little way down this path which is also popular with dog walkers so a little warning tinkle on the bell is advised!

The Morrisons Cycle Link. Part of NCN6 and now only with barriers in the middle (on Morrisons own land) and not at either end. Links Lake Street / Grove Road with South Street. This bit is also used by delivery lorries and the bit before of ... [more]

Entrance to Parsons Close Link from Grovebury Road. There is now a sign telling you this is a cycle path!

Entrance to Riverside Walk from Leighton Road/Bridge Street.

Excellent shared use subway linking Stotfold to Letchworth under the busy A507. Shame about the unncessary railings.

Danesfield Cycle Way linking Marley Fields and Stanbridge Road to Meadow Way and the Planets Estate. Needs a new, wider bridge over the brook though.

Black Bridge Cycle Route. Beware the barriers at either end that make it difficult for tandems, trailers etc.

Link from the Black Bridge cycle path to Tiddenfoot Waterside Park alongside the canal. Takes you to some good family riding around the Waterside Park and out to Grove Lock pub, Ledburn and Mentmore beyond via the bridleway under the bypass ... [more]

Attractive cut-through (avoiding busy roundabout) in Sandy.

Riverside Walk when it was first completed. Beware of floods and the mud that is left behind afterwards!
